The Little Tour of Lombardy

STIM Tech Group sponsors the Little Tour of Lombardy

It was a great honor to have participated as the main sponsor of the Piccolo Giro di Lombardia, an under-23 international competitive cycling event held in Oggiono (LC) on October 3, 2021.

The race, established in 1911, is part of the UCI Europe Tour and precedes the Giro di Lombardia by a couple of calendar weeks.

The 2021 edition

The victory was earned by Frenchman Paul Lapeira (AG2R Citroën U23 Team), who shared the podium with Mattia Petrucci (Team Colpack Ballan, 2nd place) and Georg Steinhauser (Tirol KTM Cycling Team, 3rd place).

As stated by Federciclismo Lombardo Committee President Stefano Pedrinazzi, "Piccolo Lombardia is the benchmark race for everyone. For our Lombardy Committee it is a feather in our cap, it is our pearl. It is the most important race at the national level, for the quality of the riders and teams at the start, for the route and also for the beauty of the landscape. The Velo Club Oggiono is one of the most prepared companies in the organizational field, and since they have taken over this organization and under everyone's eyes that the race has made a very important leap in quality. Having about fifteen foreign teams at the start means having a positive response abroad as well and it says a lot about the quality of these organizers. We can only say thank you to them."

In addition to the significant connection with Oggiono (LC), the registered office of our company, the sponsorship of the Piccolo gave us the opportunity to emphasize how the values of sports, such as tenacity,commitment and teamwork, are also fundamental for us in our daily work, as well as how important it is for us to invest in young talent.
